Honduras is a country which often isn't high on the traveler's list of places to go. Attractions include the Bay Islands - particularly Utila and Roatan known for diving with whale sharks. Other highlights include Copan Ruinas - the ornate Maya ruins bordering Guatemala. Perhaps the best thing about Honduras though is that its refreshingly off the beaten path.
