Uruguay is a small country in South America wedged between Brazil and Argentina. Its main attractions include the laid back capital, Montevideo; the colonial town of Colonia del Sacramento, and the seaside resort town of Punta del Este which is also very popular with Argentinean and Brazilian visitors.
Spanish is the official language of Uruguay.
